The New York Band Instrument Company was selling Gold Label Brunswicks at about 
half price in the late 30s. Ironically, many of these were the wonderful late 
laminated pressings. But everything else in their catalog was full price ($2 
and $1.50 for most Victors and Columbias). That was a nice catalog to run across.
