The only connection between Crown (1930-33) and ARC is that Crown
was, as I understand it, formed by the many musicians and bandleaders
left "out of work" after ARC was assembled through mergers in late
1929?! If one looks at the Crown catalog, one will find a lot of folks
who had earlier recorded for Plaza/Cameo-Perfect...and who became
"obsolete" after ARC combined the above rosters!

I recall a more detailed posting regarding this...but until I can put my
previous HD (IATA) into a functioning computer, I can't access my
earlier e-mail...?! If anyone can provide the details...feel free to do so!!
