[78-L] BIG news for Jolson fans from Warner Home Video

This is wonderful news!  No doubt it will include the musical numbers in the
two-strip Technicolor for which film elements were found several years ago
in Scandinavia.

Yes the "Hallelujah I'm a Bum" single was a legitimate release.  I still
think the Al Jolson laser box is great to have, with its artwork and
"cachet."  It's like a gatefold LP compared with a CD.  Also the Warner
Archives DVDs aren't that great, I suspect the Jolson films may even be
using the old laserdisc masters.
