[78-L] Lost sheep and the daily Grinderino

I've looked through my sparse collection of sound effects records and find
no such things...my favorite of all of them is the Gennett of flocks of
sheep...both a small group and a pretty big group. If you tune in closely
to one side you can actually hear someone urging them to make more noise. I
also enjoy some of my later ones (forget the label) of restaurant noises,
including the ever-popular dropping of a full tray of dishes.

David's statement that he might have missed something by Signor Grinderino
reminds me of a line I recall from some 30s movie which I saw on TV when I
was a kid. A racketeer has been chatting with a crusading newspaper
reporter, and as the racketeer is about to be driven away in his limo, he
rolls down the window and says to the reporter: "You know, I never miss
your column. I never read it....and I never miss it."

Not to be construed as bashing Signor G...I have several records under that
name which I enjoy.
