Does anyone know if ELYAKUM SHAPIRA is still living, if so - where? or when he died? There is a WIKIPEDIA entry for him indicating a conducting career from the 1960's (NY Philharmonic), SF, Boston, etc., lastly with the ADELAIDE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA thru 1979. Searching the web, I find no further references. Anyone know? Thanks, Thomas.
