TRUE for 78's and their collectors; however, the collectors of vinyl
microgroove "records" are OBSESSIVE about label conditions...
including any writing (by a previous owner)...stains...tears...scuffing...
wothaveya!!
This worked to my advantage once...a Goldmine advertiser listed
a couple of original Billie Holiday Brunswicks...NO minimum, and
"paint on label!" The "paint" turned out to be numbers put there by
a previous owner for filing use...and I got a couple of nice original
Holiday Brunswicks (1935) for $2 & change apiece!!
