[78-L] When the Holy Grail of 78s appears, what should you do?

You bet - if I found a Victor test of Jack Norworth & Nora Bayes singing,
"Shine On Harvest Moon" - I'd pay a lot gladly.

I'm still lamenting records I didn't buy 30 years ago! I know better now.

Dennis,

I'm with Taylor on this topic. I've been an active collector since
1967 and when I've been searching for a certain disc for X number of years
I
tend to go heavy to get it. I recently paid over $200 for the Al Turk Okeh

of "Snag It" and would have paid more....I've looked for this one for many
many moons and would have paid more if needed.

Motto is, "If you can get it, GET IT".

Doug
