Apex poaching masters from Victor wasn't unknown, although it happened well 
before 1924 and I don't think Herbert would have been crazy enough to try it 
again. Also, a 1924 Victor master would have had a trip groove..the way around 
this would have been to dub the disc, and then the master number wouldn't have 
shown (nor been needed).

Per Roll Back The Years, Apex 668 is the Sherwin-Williams Dance Orchestra, 
backed with the story "The 4 Clever Brothers"..Apex 669 is the same orchestra 
playing "Printemps d'Amour" with the French version of the story on the flip.
