[78-L] Ancient Japanese record...help!

Many thanks,  Mark!!  I looked at the scan just to make sure,  but my label 
doesn't look at all like the Nipponophone design...the eagle on my label 
looks more like the outline of the  NRA eagle.

I would sure like to learn more about Western-style or -influenced dance 
bands in other countries pre-WW2.  Of course I have tons of British stuff, 
a sprinkling of Australian,  German,  French,  Dutch, etc. but nothing from 
Asia except that Theodore's Taj record from India.

I don't know the "Blue Nippon"  book either but it sounds like I should find 
myself a copy.

Any more info you or your friend in Japan can provide would be of great 
interest to me....thanks again!
