I have quite a few Canadian pressed Pathe 78s (and a few Angels) but nothing as 
late as 1962, but most of the records for the Quebec market rarely got into 
Ontario.

And for film and television production. 78 was preferred because of superior 
sound and ease of cuing. I think the last such music library 78s date from 
1968. But YPR (Young People's Records) kept 78s in print until 1971..teachers 
preferred them for the same reasons cited in the case of production music. And 
I was still seeing square dance records on the "Honor Your Partner" label on 78 
pressings through the 70s..again, ease of handling, especially at a dance.
