This was a BIG seller half a century ago! It still provokes laughs. You can
hear a bit of it on the soundtrack of "The Last Picture Show" which takes place
in 1952.

This disc sold so well that you can be sure of finding a copy in just about
every collection, and the Canadian pressings are of three types: crappy
shellac, better soft shellac with a bit of vinyl mixed in, and laminated. All
came from the Sparton plant. It was also reissued officially on Capitol's lp
"Comedy Caravan" (T732), unofficially on a Happy Face lp "Comedy's Greatest
Hits", on CD by Canadian Capitol (and full of hum) on a 50th anniversary
compilation..was it in that Warner Brothers comedy set as well? I can't remember.

It actually came out on Heidt's own label before appearing on Capitol. A link
was posted here years ago..never heard the audio so I don't know if it's free
from all those choppy edits.

DID WE THINK THEY'D WAG THEM IN FRONT?!!!!!!!!!!!!
