Yes... the only time I've been in Canada. I spent two weeks in Toronto,
working in the SNC-Lavalin offices in Ettobicoke. I believe it was in
January or february 1999, or so. I spent meny hours in the office, working
very hard (we were bidding for the HWY-407 tender) and we used to get off
work very late in the night, so I almost couldn't do anything with the boys
at Tnt... except to spend three or four hours with Graham, the ole'
Red-Beard man, and you, at Graham's. It was the very last day of my visit to
Tnt; in fact, I get off from Graham's directly to the airport, back to
Spain.
I remember that visit very well. You demonstrated to me the CEDAR processor
in action over an old 78 I took with me from Spain, which was badly broken
in the deep piano notes. It was a spanish Odeon from 1948 or so, with
british recordings of Roberto Inglez (originally issued on UK Parlophon). I
took with me a spanish red Columbia by Bing, which made the delight of Mr.
Barr. I left them at Graham's, and he presented me back with two canadian
78s.
So.. all right.
Best regards,
Inigo

I'd just also acquired another record, La Colombina, played by the
International Orch. on Victor 73259. I was so astonished by the soong and
the good recording, that I sent it together with the laughin'n'cryin' stuff,
and the guy enjoyed it too, as he put it in the webpage too, alongside the
rest of the stuff.

so, and the guy put the lot in the web by then, and since then it has been
there!
