[78-L] 1936 Victor catalog

Nice find today..the 1936 Victor catalog for five bucks. The first listings I 
turned to were Long Playing Records and Picture Records, to see how many had 
survived from 1934....interesting. The Program Transcription listings shrank 
from almost 6 pages down to 3, with just about all of the popular and jazz 
stuff gone. The Picture Records listing is almost the same..a Reisman disc and 
the Silly Symphonies set have been deleted (the Jimmie Rodgers was never in 
either catalog). And acoustical recordings are still listed, and not just 
historical ones..Pietro's "Russian Rag" (VI 18743) was still in print!
