[78-L] What might this phono be?

  Near the beginning of a color movie called Shining Though (1992) 
there is a shot of an acoustical phonograph playing however we don't 
see the whole machine. The record is a black label with gold print. 
The label name starts with a C but I can't read the rest. Anyway the 
pickup leading to the tube going into the phono is flat & wide 
perhaps an inch tall or a little less. Maybe a vertical pickup?  It's 
flat across the front & curved in the rear with the pickup tube 
coming off the rear of the pickup instead of the top & is seen at 
04:40 into the movie.

Never saw one like this before & I was wondering about it......
