[78-L] From Brad K: The Last Generic Songster?

Oh come on,  David...don't you like any of those early 30s Jan Peerce vocals 
on ARC and Crown dance bands?  He sounds pretty good on many of them.

I always liked Eileen Farrell's albums of pop tunes...she always picked 
really good ones and some which didn't become standards but should 
have...one I'm thinking of is The Far Away Part of Town and I think it was 
by Andre and Dory (sp?) Previn...and she did a nice job on I Never Has Seen 
Snow,  from House of Flowers,  etc.

How about Caruso singing "Over There"?
