I'd guess upper reaches of the 2600s. I have:
2628-D--Ben Selvin, recorded February 1932; blue wax with black labels;
2687-D--Art Kassel, recorded 27 June 1932; blue wax/blue labels;
2690-D--Enric Madriguera, recorded 27 July 1932; blue wax/blue labels;
2927-D--Benny Goodman, recorded 13 May 1934; blue wax/blue labels;
2948-D--Phil Regan, recorded 7th August 1934; blue wax/blue labels
(matrix numbers CO.15541 and 15542, the lowest of the ARC Columbia
series);
3079-D--Red Norvo, recorded 25 January 1935; black wax/blue labels*;
3114-D--Henry Hall (recorded in England for Columbia 13 November 1935,
UK mx CA.15445-1, dubbed to CO.18559-1)//Lew Stone (recorded in
England for Regal Zonophone 21 October 1935, UK mx CAR.3680-1, dubbed
to CO.18560-1), dubbings made 23 January 1936; blue wax and blue
labels.
* This record has the 1933-1936 style capitalised Columbia blue
labels. In NOTE THE NOTES a copy of 3079-D with the 1936-c.1938
COLUMBIA (all caps) is shown.
I have a couple of black wax/blue label Masterworks items with the
'Label copyright 1937 by Columbia Phonograph Co.' legend:
4217-M--Don Cossacks Choir/Serge Jaroff, pressed from (German?)
matrices CR.636 and CR.637;
9115-M--Dora Labbette, pressed from UK matrices CAX.6287 and CAX.6288.
I don't know when 4217-M was recorded; I can only narrow 9115-M to 1932.
