At a charity thrift shop today I found a copy of Jewel Gold Note
Series GN 10004, a Boyd Raeburn record. Both sides look and sound
like mid-1940s recordings from the C P MacGregor studio.
The A side is 'Prelude to the dawn' (mx JRC 232-3) but the label on
the other side has a label-sized dealer's sticker over the original
label. (It says 'YOUR COMPLIMENTARY RECORD/SPARTON TV/Gene Vanouse
Radio & Television Service/329 Highland Avenue/SAN BERNARDINO/Phone
8-2713'.)
I don't recognise the song. Matrix is JRC 233-3. Thanks for any
info you can find.
