I just got a posting from HMV.com in England promoting pre-order for a  
10.99UK  2-cd set from Sony called Those Were The Days, full of reissues 
of the usual suspects, but now drawing on many labels in their fold and 
salting it with a few cuts from the post-57 --  even post-65 -- era.  It 
seems to be a "See, we don't need Living Era to put out old stuff" 
statement, but it doesn't even start to scratch the surface.   What is 
interesting is that it has Sir Cliff's Living Doll on it.  I want to see 
if they are paying artist royalties!!!!!
