What?  Decca made recordings with Falstaff Openshaw?  That's the blustery poet who lived on Allen's Alley for a couple of seasons of The Fred Allen Show, and who would each week recite a poem along the lines of "Joy Reigned Supreme in the Stockyards."  I presume these tracks consisted of such poetry recited by Alan Reed (or Teddy Bergman, his previous nom de radio) and possibly written by Fred Allen.  Would've been wonderful to have that.  Do you have any further details on those tracks?
