[78-L] Books on music business in the east

Hello,
As I move my way along in writing a bio of Lou Breese, I am ever humbled 
by what I do not know about the music business he lived in. I am reading 
a very authoritative book on the business in the Chicago area called 
"That Toddlin' Town", by Charles Sengstock, Jr. Does anyone know of a 
book that covers the music business in the east, from 1900-1970 or so?
