[78-L] Film : The Sun Shines Bright

The black and white film " The Sun Shines Bright  " (1953 ??) was recently shown on TV here in the UK.
 
In a ballroom scene - where uniformed young men and young ladies in ballgowns formation danced to the tune 'American Patrol' - the music was provided by a large group of black musicians playing banjos.   They were first class but, of course, we saw very little of them.
 
Does anyone know who they were ?,
