Doesn't bother me one whit either.  Once on a business trip to  London some 
years back, I used an American expression for something (don't  remember 
what...) and was accused by my UK business associates of speaking in  "Yank Yack".  
I loved that!

Doesn't bother me. Neither does "Septics" for that matter  (from "septic 
tanks").
