Perhaps you or someone can fill me in on the details of a sort of 
"semi-party" record I just received in the mail:


Sterling 5002.  Moe the Schmo Makes Love b/w Moe The Schmo Takes a Rhumba 
Lesson.  Irving Kaufman and his Musical Schmos.  Musical Direction - Ruby 
Melnick.


It's also labeled Yiddish Comedy Song  Parts 1/2,  but has a fair amount of 
double entendre humor,  as well as little bits of what sounds like a great 
klezmer-style band.  Not to mention the wonderful sound of our old pal 
Irving singing and speaking in Yiddish and English...a great record.

Any one know if there are other records like this on Sterling,  or other 
Kaufman records from this same period,  which I'm guessing is ca. 1948?
