[78-L] ARSC Journal back issues on line and Dr. Mike's writing

I've picked up as many back issues as possible when ARSC offered them, when
Dave Canfield listed several on his Ars Antiqua auction list and when Bill
Shaman offered me a batch of duplicates a few years ago. There are still quite
a few I never managed to obtain (although I finally got a photocopy of the
first half of the Victor 33RPM lists from the early 30s). Mike wrote some great
columns back then (when he was just a punk kid).

For at least 14 issues Mike did a "news/review" column for the ARSC Journal called "For The Record". It was the first thing I read and led me to become Mike's close friend - and perennial ARSC COonference Roomate (until daughter Leah was old enough to go to cOnferences). In Fact, the column I've been writing monthly for the last 18 years for "In The Groove" was patterned after Mike's ARSC Journal column.
