It is possible that this was recorded later than 1950. It seems that 1950 King numbers were in the 3 digit range, unless they had separate ranges for different recording venues or genres.
Milton DeLugg introduced the song on the Jerry Lester TV show in 1950. Whitburn says it is possibly the first hit song introduced on TV. Jerry Lester also recorded it in 1950 for Coral.
Janet Brace did record an LP which seems to be available on CD on an import from Japan. The Amazon link below shows her picture on the CD cover.

'Janet Brace, jazz vocalist out of West Virginia who recorded with Jimmy Long, here with two rare King sides that did not appear on her lone LP. These sides, with orchestra under direction of Milton Delugg, have never been reissued. Some really great singing here; she was and is quite underrated. "Oceana Roll" is particularly wonderful. '
