[78-L] Babe Russin is Alive!

This is good news,  and I totally agree with Julian that Russin is seriously 
under-rated.    I just got a nice upgrade of the Babe Russin Variety of 
Roses in December on which he does some nice stuff.  And his little passage 
on the Dorsey/Sinatra of Polka Dots and Moonbeams is so nice...

Speaking of tenor players,  I have not noted anything about Eddie Miller 
having passed away.  He would be 98 now.  Anybody know the facts?

BTW Babe's brother Jack was one Hell of a piano player...check out his 
punchy solo on the Nichols Br of Waitin' For the Evening Mail (where Babe 
follows him,  also in fine form).
