[78-L] ^The Talking Machine Forum, RIP: What happened?

I just found out. The Victrola Forum and the Talking Machine Forum
were one and the same. They changed the name from VF to TMF to give
it a more universal appeal, as Victrola was mostly known in America.
The people who started VF/TMF had left another related board due to
the antics of some of the members there, apparently. Lots of bad
blood, and the VF/TMF people wanted a fresh start with none of the
shenanigans. However, the troublemaker contingent in the earlier
board didn't take the start of a new one lying down, and apparently
harassed the hosting organisation (which was ProBoards for both MBs)
who simply responded by pulling both boards off its site.
I found this message on a blog page from one of the original VF/TMF people:
<snip>Sadly I must announce that our competition has harassed
ProBoards to the point where they decline to host either forum. We
will be back on another host as soon as we can. I will not buckle
under to bullies! <snip>
Here's the link to a temporary forum:
