There was a radio series in the early 50s called "In All Directions" 
featuring Peter Ustinov and Peter Jones. They kept referring to "Jew 
boys". Eventually I found out they were talking about "Dubois"!

Interesting that you use "bussed". I usually see it spelled "bused" over 
there.
