[78-L] Deep Ellum Blues^

On most Bing Crosby recordings he pronounces (sings) the "t" in often.  One
that comes immediately to mind is "It's Always You," from Road To Zanzibar. 
(....and lately I often do.....)

Except in Boston where they're "cahmm", "bahmm" and "pahmm".

I spent over 30 years as a radio pronouncer and I've never pronounced the L
in
any of those words! Or the "T" in "often". Not even in Oftenbach.
