One more thing.

I too received a significant shipment of 78s from the Middle East, with some broken ones, 80 years after A J Macksoud's case.

Unlike Macksoud, I paid the duty, once home found some of the records to be broken, but didn't file a protest on the duty.  Fortunately, whatever the duty was, it wasn't that much./steve
