Back around 1967-68, I was in the USAF in Garmisch-Partenkirchen,
Germany. I had picked up somewhere a US Army field jacket, which
I reguraraly wore when in "civvies!" I was told that since I had not been
ISSUED the jacket, my posession thereof was illegal, and that I might
face "courts martial" as a result!
