[78-L] Sonora

Hi all
Just picked up a Sonora Imperial
Looks like the tone arm need some work someone did some soldering on it.
Are there some tricks to tacking the tone arms apart?
Also the reproducer should be rebuilt. Is this something I could do myself?
I'm sure you all have some opinions, how would rate the Sonora phonographs?
This is my first antique crank type player, what are the dos and don'ts I 
should know
