Well, similar (but not identical) names sometimes get by.  There was the linux distrbution called LINDOWS which survived all US court challenges from Microsoft.  And, indeed it was billed as looking like Windows.

However, then they ran into Microsoft clout around the world and lost cases in many countries.   Eventually, they changed the name to Linspire to use the same name worldwide.

But, I always thought it interesting that they could whip Microsoft.
