That was a reason for the two-month delay - making sure they got the restorations/recreations right. And replacements for the v2 disc 1 showed up for those who requested them the same week. 

Far as I know, they got them right this time - haven't seen any complaints on the discussion groups devoted to vintage animation. As tempting as it is to skip merrily ahead to the wartime 'toons, we're watching them in order as time allows.

Any production mishaps like the fouled-up openings on Volume 2 Disc 1 or did 
they get their act together this time? Frankly, I haven't been that knocked out 
by much of Volume 2. When Olive Oyl starts to look cute, you know they've lost 
their edge.
