[78-L] Test -- and young record-spinners.

For ideas and playable examples of kids 78s, go over to our friend Peter Muldaven’s website kiddierecordking.com
Darrell's mentioning of the Capitol record readers is great. There are the Looney Tunes ones, but if you want to instill the love of good music, Rusty in Orchestraville and Sparky's Magic Piano are classics. RCA has Disney sets of Snow White, Cinderella, Pecos Bill, Peter Pan, and Sterling Halloway's version of Peter and the Wolf. The original Richard Hale is on Red Seal, and Basil Rathbone on Columbia.
Someone mentioned Young People's Records. Those and Children's Record Guild had many that infuriated the McCarthyites during the red scare era. They made me the liberal I am today :-).
And if you can find the Ginger Rogers Alice in Wonderland on Decca, that will be unforgettable for her.

And don’t forget all the Capitol “sets” of pages and records!
