I am trying to locate any information on the history of the HMV Mobile Recording Van, in particular, how field recordings were decided on and how they were done in the field, such as HMV B 3345 Daybreak on a Surrey Farm/In A Village Churchyard.

Any information on source material would be greatly appreciated!
