[78-L] first Christmas album?

 Aside from a few Christmas stories (mainly versions of A Christmas Carol), there were some collections of carols on Victor and Bluebird that were album sets before 1940. Others?

I'm assuming Bing's 1945 Christmas album on Decca (A-403, the one with Danny
Boy as a filler) was the first Christmas album. Can somebody confirm or
correct me on that?
