[78-L] Did Anyone Here See Jack Teagarden Perform ??

I have a vague recollection of a record store in mid-Manhattan, narrow
doorway up a steep flight of wooden stairs (front of steps had names of
classic jazz icons) which was owned by Teagarden or a relative ????
He may have been in the store sometimes. I never heard him live, but surely
must have seen him on TV..... ????
Cheers, Thomas.

Michael, I know how you feel. I was in my early teens and barely aware of
good music then, if at all.
