Subject: Re: [78-L] Thesaurus Label

Exclusively for radio station use. Sorry, I don't own the disc..I did a transfer years ago as part of a project. Matrix number is ND3-MM-4098-1 and the date 4-6-43 (date of mastering) is in the dead wax. It is possible that Dust-to-Digital might have a label scan in its database since that's who I did the transfers for.

If you could make a label scan, that would also be most welcome! Any idea if these were for radio play?

There's an entry for the Golden Gate Quartet doing "Blood Stained Bandits" in Blues and Gospel Records circa June-August 1943 on a 16-inch transcription disc under the label name Thesaurus. I've seen entries in UNC's collection for transcriptions with the label "NBC Thesaurus: A Treasure House of Recorded Programs." Anybody know if these recordings exist, and, if so, where?
