Yes, Iñigo, that's our guy.
Just that Jack (Jacob) was born on August 6 1905, not in 1906.
Apparently he had three children, Sheila, Allan and Eleanor, all 
deceased. In the Boston Globe obituary for Eleanor (2014) there's a 
memory message from someone who knew her. For further investigation, maybe:

In 1928 Jack was still living with his father, Morris, and sister, 
Mollie, in Boston and registered as a musician.
