BTW: how accurate do you think Rust is in sorting out jazz records from 
dance music and popular? Too harsh? Too liberal?
Jensen, for instance, is very much a child of his time: every pop singer 
with a soul or r 'n' b leaning is listed (Aretha Franklin, NIna Simone); 
Big bands who have jazz roots and play good enough jazz are left out 
(Les Brown, Sauter-Finegan). But what about Rust?
I'm sure there is some opinion about this in the crowd.
