How about a quick Ruth Etting question on a quiet Thursday afternoon?
According to Nat Shapiro, who is generally extremely accurate, Ruth Etting had a best-selling recording in 1927 on Columbia of FORGIVE ME, the Yellen/Ager FORGIVE ME.
Can this be a mistake?
A short search of all the obvious places shows no sign of that recording.
Do any of you collectors happen to own a copy of it to prove Shapiro right?
