[78-L] Pronunciation Question

The question is how to pronounce the name of musician Romeo Penque?
I don't think it is off topic as I can see that he recorded as far back as 1953, certainly within the 78 era.
I ran across him in the Jackie Gleason LP, "Lonesome Echo," featured on oboe, but he seems to have played many instruments.  
I have a linguist friend who answers most of my questions, but he is on a cruise and out of reach, so I hope somebody has heard of him, or heard his name pronounced.  I have my hunch, so just double checking.
