Jon Hendricks, 96, had a few 78s on Prestige and Decca in the mid 50s before stardom with Dave Lambert and Annie Ross on LP.
George Avakian, 98, started producing 78 album sets of jazz first at Decca then started an essential series of reissue sets at Columbia as well as recording new music.
