I've learned to use Greenshot. Very cool. Can even translate to text via Optical Character Recognition.

One problem with that method whatever the program is that you've saved the resolution of the viewing screen which may not be as good as the original file. Been there done that.

Audio is yet another problem. A cousin posted a cassette of our grandpa and I couldn't save it so I gave him instructions to drag and drop it into Files on the family page. Instead he sent it to me as a voice message on facebook which is no better at all. The post and the voice message both are subject to dropout via buffering which is frustrating to the max.

Sent from my iPhone, which explainz any bad typjng and nonsensical word choices.

Use "snipping tool" with Windows 7 to copy any part or all of a screen.
Check the Windows "Start" menu.

Grabbing a pic from the screen is easy. Use a free photo editor like
Irfanview (get it from the official website). Hit "prt scn" open the editor
and do Control + V to paste it. Then trim the page (Control + Y) and S to
save it.

Or in Win you should be able to do something similar in Paint. If Paint is
still there.

I use a utility called Winsnap, which works pretty well.

I'm still here. To quote Stephen Sondheim.

But getting an email on 78-L from Dave L prompts a question.
Just how many of us, of all who deserted for the brighter fields of
Facebook and/or other groups, are still here?
A far reduced number from 78-L's halcyon days of yesteryear, I'm sure.
Malcolm
