[78-L] BALKAN and ISTANBUL labels

A friend asked me to transfer several 78s, originally owned by immegrant
grandparents (Greece and Hungary, I believe). There are other labels. (He's
going to send me a list.) But, for now, these are the two he sent. 


- BALKAN PHONOGRAPH RECORDS - "Recorded in Europe - Made in USA"
- ISTANBUL

Does anyone have any info on these labels - or can you point me to a
source??
