The Outreach Committee of the Association for Recorded Sound Collections
(ARSC) posts the following message.

The 50th annual ARSC Conference will be held May 11-14, 2016 at the Biddle
Hotel and Conference Center, Bloomington, Indiana. The hotel is located in
the historic Indiana Memorial Union, in the heart of the Indiana University
campus.
Many room types at the Biddle Hotel are now sold out, including all the
lower-priced rooms.
Favorable rates may be found at the following hotels, located in downtown
Bloomington, within a 15-minute walk to the IMU Conference Center:

April 18 is the deadline for discounted rates for conference registration
and the two-day pre-conference workshop, "Media Preservation Boot Camp." To
qualify for the discounted prices, your registration must be postmarked or
submitted online by April 18. After that date, registration fees increase.
