Hi John,

I did not realize you were still doing (had resumed?) your great program.
I just listened to the show.  It sounds to me like the band is doing the
same "scat" chorus that Louis did and I know other bands orchestrated his
intro to West End.  Based on that, I'd say that they are copying Louis's
version.

Includes a Phil Green studio group performing West End Blues with Marjorie
Stedeford . Phil Green's harpsichord intro to West End Blues seems to follow
either Oliver's or Armstrong's trumpet solo/intro, both similar so I'm not
sure which one.

So which one, if either?
