A few weeks ago Strayhorn, last week Sinatra, this week Edith Piaf 
(tomorrow) and André Claveau (today - although some say he was born on 
December 17 1911).
And on Christmas Day: Pete Rugolo.
Coming up: Svend Asmussen in February. He's alive and reportedly well 
and will be a hundred.
