I guess many of us know about Al Bowlly's last recording being "When
That Man Is Dead And Gone", recorded in London on April 2 1941, two
weeks before he was killed in an air raid.
Russ Columbo's last recording, made on August 31 1934, was "I See Two
Lovers", a song that ends with the words:
I wonder when I'll find the trembling hand
Fate intended for me
Three days later Columbo was shot dead by a friend who was playing with
an antique revolver.
Spooky, eh?
Any other weird musical coincidences that you come to think of?
